Tehsil Office Uri Delays Certificate Issuance, Poor Residents Sufferents Suffer

Uri: A young applicant has been waiting for over a month for his certificate to be issued by the Tehsil Office Uri, yet his application remains pending on the Pathwaris portal. The application, submitted on 14 October 2024, had a due issuance date of 13 November 2024, but as of today, 18 November 2024, the certificate is still not processed.
The delay has been attributed to the inaction of the concerned Pathwari, Mohammad Ashraf, who also holds additional charge of Basgara Uri. Locals allege that his lack of responsiveness has caused undue hardship to applicants, especially those from poor backgrounds who cannot afford repeated visits to government offices.
"We appeal to MLA Uri, DC Bla, and SDM Uri to intervene and ensure timely issuance of certificates. Poor people should not have to suffer due to administrative negligence," a resident expressed.
The affected individual and others in the area urge authorities to address the issue.
