DC Baramulla Reviews Ramzan Arrangements, Stresses Seamless Public Services
Baramulla, February 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting to finalize arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan, ensuring all necessary facilities for the public.
The DC directed concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, particularly during Sehri and Iftar hours. He also emphasized strict market regulation to curb hoarding and overpricing of essential commodities.
Reviewing sanitation measures, the DC instructed municipal authorities to maintain cleanliness around mosques and marketplaces. He further directed the concerned departments to install and repair streetlights in key areas to facilitate safe movement of people, especially during early morning and late evening hours.
