JKBOSE to Announce Class 10, 12 Results by April 30; Minor Delays Possible: Official

Says Class 11 Results to Take Time, No Immediate Plans for Release

Srinagar, Apr 28 (PP): In a significant update, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to announce the results for Class 10 and Class 12 on the same day, likely by April 30, officials said.

A senior JKBOSE official told the news agency Prism Post (PP) that this is the first time results are being declared so early. However, minor delays are possible, and the results may be announced by May 1 if necessary.

“We are trying our best to declare the Class 10 and 12 results by April 30. Both will be released together, but there is a chance the website might crash due to heavy traffic, which could cause a delay. Still, we are working tirelessly to meet the timeline,” the official stated.

Highlighting the unprecedented early release, the official added, “This is the first time we are releasing the results this early. It’s a significant effort from our team, and we are leaving no stone unturned.”

Regarding Class 11 results, the official said they would take more time. “Class 11 students have already been provisionally admitted to the next grade, so there’s no urgency in releasing their results. Our focus remains on Class 10 and 12, as their results are crucial,” the official explained.

It’s to mention that this year, the Class 10th to 12th annual Board examinations were scheduled in February, as the government restored the previous November session in schools.
