Baramulla, April 11, 2025: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla has issued a circular directing all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to ensure timely payment of water supply dues by government employees in the district. As per the circular, all pending water supply dues must be cleared on or before April 30, 2025.
The administration has stated that failure to comply may result in strict action, including withholding of monthly salaries as per relevant laws and rules.
The circular has been forwarded to the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, all Sectoral Officers and DDOs of Baramulla, the District Treasury Officer, and the Executive Engineer of PHE (JSD) Division Baramulla, Sopore, Uri, and Tangmarg.
