JD(U) Leader Resigns in Protest Against Waqf Bill Stand


Senior JD(U) leader Mohammed Kasim Ansari has resigned from the party and all his posts, citing disappointment over the party’s stance on the Waqf Amendment Bill. In his resignation letter, Ansari expressed dismay, stating, “I am disheartened that I gave several years of my life to the party.” His exit adds to the growing discontent within JD(U) over its position on the controversial bill.
